Vivo users will receive the RAM Expansion (Virtual RAM) feature in FuntouchOS 12 update.

Vivo has officially announced the Android 12-based FuntouchOS 12 skin for its smartphones. One of the new features coming to Funtouch OS is the redesigned UI widgets, the design of which appears to have been ported by OriginOS. Widgets are more powerful, and Vivo says they should help users be more productive.

FuntouchOS 12 Virtual RAM

The new FuntochOS 12 skin increases the amount of virtual RAM for smartphones with support for memory pooling technology. Users can now get even more RAM to improve the performance of their devices.

The Vivo X60 Pro was the first in the market to receive the Virtual RAM aka RAM Expansion for combining memory. This function allows you to increase the amount of RAM due to the built-in so that more applications can run in the background and launch faster. Until now, the standard 8GB of RAM could be increased by 3GB on the X60 Pro model, and with the Funtouch OS update, the user gets 8 + 4GB.

The new firmware version is already available for Vivo X60 Pro, Vivo V21, and Vivo V21e smartphones. You can check the availability of the update and install it in the system settings. In the future, the update will be released for other models on the global market.
